Let me start by saying thank you to all 4 followers of this blog. Yay. Cuz wow. I thought this blog was just gonna be me rambling all to myself and once I got better and then, there would be interested people who would care. Seriously wow, It’s gonna give a girl a big ego.
So plus points of having followers is the ability to create a community and gives accountability, so it’ll be a motivating factor to keep writing.
So here’s the worrying part… Your brain trips you up. Your brain creates this illusion that you’re in the spotlight (I hope it’s called the spotlight effect but better not quote me on that) and starts panicking cuz it slides straight into lizard brain.
But this could be great too.. let me just take this and a hip and skip and straight into fantasy land where I’m already a successful writer with a few bestsellers behind me. Woohoo!
Hold it right there silly brain. You still haven’t built the habit of writing yet. You should have beliefs based on evidence and the beliefs without evidence is called delusion. So… Don’t get ahead of yourself there. Work and Patience. Lots and lots of Patience.
